Structure evolution in undercooled CoCrNi medium entropy alloys by glass fluxing method

Undercooling of ternary CoCrNi medium entropy alloy (MEA) was achieved by molten glass fluxing method. The influence undercooling on microstructure and mechanical properties investigated. changes during the process identified transmission electron microscope scanning shows that grain size intergranular phase all change after treatment. yield strength MEA increased significantly treatment, which attribute to refined formation new phase. method can be used as a potential modify improve MEAs.
